Tips for installing the T.Flow Hygro+ extract air thermodynamic water heater
The place of installation must meet the following conditions:
• Compliance with NFC15-100 criteria: The water heater must be installed in volume 3 or outside volume,
• Installation in the heated space recommended to guarantee optimum system thermal performance (if this is not possible, the product must be installed in a frost-free room).
• As this water heater operates on extracted air, it must be ducted; consequently there is no restriction on the volume of the installation room
• Stable floor that can support a weight of 350 kg minimum (surface under the water heater).
• Imperative level surface (drainage of condensates).
• Closed room with acoustic partitions and door.
• Avoid installing the product near rooms at night (acoustic comfort). If this is not possible, provide soundproofing of the closet.
• As close as possible to the draw-off points in order to minimize energy losses through the pipes.
• Check easy access to the cover fixing screws (front panel and cover) for any maintenance operations.
• Height under ceiling > 2.3 m necessary for possible dismantling of the upper cover during any repair operations.
• Minimum area required (see diagram opposite): depending on the position and type of water pipe, the available width must be adjusted to ensure that the product remains maneuverable for an after-sales service.
