Individually controlled 10Nm radio motor for Bubendorff roller shutter from before 2010

The best value for money to replace a defective Bubendorff 10 Nm roller shutter motor of a Mono and Tradi ID shutter installed from 1998 to 2010.

The CI Bubendorff motorization, with a torque of 10Nm (CI10) is sold with its wall-mounted radio transmitter, also commonly called remote control, already paired in the factory (cannot be sold separately).

The 20 Nm and 30 Nm CI1 motors must be replaced automatically by the RG motors with a torque of 25 for 20 and 33 for 30 with flange adapter head ID 1.2 and 2.0.

Note: the CI radio engine works exclusively with an ID radio transmitter labeled with the same S/N number.

Bubendorff no longer sells an electronic card alone, therefore you must change the motor if you have broken the card.

What is the remote control supplied with the CI 10 Bubendorff radio engine?

All Bubendorff radio motors are now delivered with a factory-paired 3-button remote control:

White square boxes (with gray or white central square) as well as rectangular 2-button remote controls (see image below) are no longer available for motors purchased after September 01, 2019.

What is the connection of the CI Bubendorff motor?

The CI radio engine in this product sheet has flexible lamella (2.0) connections.

If your motor has a 1.2 connector with rigid lamella, it will be necessary to order a pair of ID1 flanges in addition.

(See Motor Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at the bottom of the product page for more information).

But if you have a 10 Nm MONO ID1 shutter (with aluminum box) equipped with 1.2 side panels, we advise you to choose the 10 Nm Bubendorff RG radio motor with 1.2 adapter.

Even if it is more expensive, it will be easier for you to install it and you will have the latest generation of Bubendorff radio engine.

How to ensure compatibility with the CI engine?

To avoid errors, we offer verification with the SN number, with the flange, and with the engine torque.

If you check these three technical criteria, you are sure that the CI10 Nm motor is the motor for you.

I. The verification with the SN number of your shutter is indicated on the last blade of this one

1) The year (the first 2 digits of the S/N number 07 8 12345 001 001 67)

If your cover dates from after 1998 then you can go to the next step and check your range number.
If your shutter dates from before 1998 and you are sure you have never changed the motor, so this type of motor is not compatible,

2) The range (the 3rd digit of the S/N number 07 812345 001 001 67)

If the Range number is 8 you can go to part 2 to check the motor connections.
If the Range number (or shutter model as above) is different from 8 then the motor reference is very likely not to be that of this page!

II. Verification with the motor connector or the motor flange

1) IC motor connector can help you.

1998 was a pivotal year for Bubendorff connections. This is why customers who have shutters whose SN number begins with 98 (S/N 98 812345 001 001 67) must imperatively check the connectors in order not to make any mistakes.

If your connectors are in 1.2:
you must order the RG 10 Nm motor with adaptation for shutters dating from before 1998
your motor connector does not have a drawer termination :
then you must order the RG 10 Nm Motor without a drawer adapter

2) The motor cheek is also to be checked. As there are two types of connectors, there are necessarily 2 types of motor cheeks.

The first dating from before 1998 specific to the 1.2 drawer connectors
The second dating from after 1998 specific to drawer 2.0 connectors

If your motor flange has the connector, otherwise you must order the RG 10 Nm motor with adaptation for shutters dating from before 1998

ONLY IF YOUR MOTOR IS MORE THAN 5 m²

Be careful if you decide to take a 25 nm when your shutter is less than 5 m², you will break some parts of your shutter.

2 solutions are possible:

1) If you currently have a centralization (group of shutters) then go on a radio protocol engine AND carrier current.
