Brand history

1959: Richard Bubendorff begins designing roller shutters using wood, in addition to his Hégenheim sawmill.
1970s: Bubendorff buys the Estal company from Ludovic and the Alfred Weber establishments from Dinsheim.
1988: Bubendorff sets up its headquarters in Saint-Louis to double its production capacity over 18,000 m² of covered area
2010: the 1st solar roller shutter is marketed by the brand

All the manufacturing sites are grouped together in a very close area around the Franco-German border. Bubendorff's head office is located in Saint Louis, Alsace.
