Is your company ready to resume its activity in optimal sanitary conditions?

As we know, the recovery is coming soon. Sanitary conditions are the number one concern in France and all over the World.

The reception of the public and employees will no longer be done as we did before, for the safety of all. Despite these exceptional circumstances, we must resume professional activity while ensuring the health of people and the sustainability of French companies.

In addition to barrier gestures, many measures can be put in place within a company. Today we present a guide to good practice for resuming activity.

Protection of employees and customers

Providing safe working conditions today is a duty as an employer and manager of a company receiving the public. It also allows employees to be reassured to return to their posts and to frequent a clientele again.

Some innovations have appeared in recent weeks to find solutions for receiving the public in places open to the public.

1. Maintenance and cleaning

Surfaces used by employees should be cleaned at least daily. Ideally, cleaning every 2 to 4 hours with disinfectant would be ideal for areas that are heavily used: desks, refectory tables, banks and sales counters.

In addition, it is necessary to properly disinfect all points of contact: door handles, lift buttons, switches, coffee machines, etc.

2. The different fabric or plastic masks for your employees

Wearing a mask becomes essential to protect yourself and others from the transmission of the virus.

There are different types of masks: surgical masks, FFP2 masks, masks with plexiglass visors.

Surgical mask

By providing your employees with a surgical mask you avoid the projection of upper airway secretions or saliva that may contain transmissible infectious agents:

- by droplet route

- or by airborne route

FFP2 mask

The FFP2 mask is a mask that filters airborne infectious agents. It a fortiori also protects against the risk of droplet transmission.

The visor mask is very useful to protect the eyes and upper face from infectious transmissions but ALSO from projectiles(it is ideal for dentists for example or the construction sector. )

On the other hand, it does not completely protect against air particles which is why it is necessary to fit an additional fabric mask under the visor mask for ideal protection.

3. Hydroalcoholic gel and lotion in your premises

Hydroalcoholic gel or lotion should be made available at entrances and on counters. This liquid allows the destruction of bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is strongly recommended by the World Health Organisation(WHO).

Some providers sell cans of more than 5 litres in order to supply smaller containers. We also recommend that you provide smaller bottles of hydroalcoholic lotion to your staff, which will be personal and can be refilled. This should be around 100ml per person/month.

4. Social distancing

If your employees are in open space, next to each other then it is best to rethink the workspaces. If this is not possible because the space is too small, then it is advisable to arrange the working hours of the employees to provide sufficient social distancing to work in the best possible conditions. For example, some companies have some of the employees come in earlier so as not to bump into the other part of the employees who come in the afternoon.

While the one metre distance is sometimes difficult to apply depending on the business activity, protective walls help to protect staff. They are ideal on counters and counters, or between two desks or computer stations. These panels help to limit and reduce the transmission of viruses such as covid-19.

Lacentrale-eco collaborates with a supplier of plexiglass walls that help to enforce the social distancing indicated by the government.

5. Air purifiers to sanitise public reception areas

Anemo air purifier solutions use the most advanced technology to disinfect and sanitise the ambient air (Filtration + Photocatalysis + UVc).

Anemo air purifiers treat the air throughout the day, so they provide optimal air quality for your employees and customers.

Anemo air purifiers are already used in various fields: medical and food processing. They ensure better sanitary conditions in these sectors of activity where hygiene is a central concern.

How to choose the right air purifier for your company?

The air purifier is chosen according to the volume of the room. Ideally, the entire volume of air should be treated at least once an hour.

For example, to disinfect a 30m² room with a ceiling height of 3m, i.e. 90 m3, you would choose the HEGOA or SILUXE 100 air purifier The SILUXE 50 or 100 air purifier is the silent version of the HEGOA 50 or 100 air purifier.

The modelSILUXEis recommended for homes, medical settings, classrooms, offices or workspaces. In the case of a volume greater than 100 m3, it is advisable to multiply the number of devices to be installed and to distribute them in different parts of the room to be treated.

These models are manufactured in Lyon and are mainly used in medical environments or on company platforms.

6. Check and adapt your ventilation usage

This is a good time to check your ventilation system: hourly programming, operating schedule and especially the filters! COVID or not, remember to change your ventilation filters every quarter. Changing the filter will have no impact on the virus of course, but it will allow you to maintain your plant. Lacentrale-eco offers you the G4 (EU4) model made to measure.
