Launched in January 2020, Ma Prime Rénov is a real success with 190,000 applications submitted.

This scheme has evolved in 2021, with access open to all (owner-occupiers, owners of rented accommodation and even co-ownership associations). The income criteria have also been made more flexible.

The aim is to increase to 400,000 to 500,000 applications by 2021.

1. What is My Renov Premium?

MaPrimeRenov' is a grant that helps finance energy renovation work.

The amount is calculated according to your income but also the type of work you wish to carry out. Since 2021, MaPrimeRenov' has been open to everyone.

MyRenov'sPremium for an owner occupier

All owner-occupiers are now eligible for the grant. Depending on your income, the amount of MaPrimeRenov aid changes. There are 4 income brackets, with each bracket having a corresponding MaPrimeRenov colour.

In practical terms, the most modest households benefit from MaPrimeRenov Blue. Conversely, the most prosperous households are entitled to MaPrimeRenov Pink.

My Renov bonus for rental investments (landlord)

Since 2021, landlords can benefit from the aid, just like an owner occupier. The aim is to strengthen efforts to improve the efficiency of the private housing stock.

The aim is to reach 50,000 applications from landlords in 2021. The amounts of the lump sums is the same as those offered to owner-occupiers.

One landlord of rented accommodation can benefit from the aid for 3 dwellings.

The work can concern the private parts when they are in joint ownership (a boiler for example) or when it is a single-family home.

Since 2021, your co-ownership trustee can benefit from MaPrimeRenov' Co-ownership.

To meet the eligibility criteria:

  • The work must provide an energy gain of at least 35%
  • The co-ownership must be composed of 75% main residence
  • The co-ownership must be listed in the national co-ownership register

Note that additional aid may be available to owner-occupiers as part of their co-ownership works:

  • +750e for MaPrimeRenov Yellow profiles
  • +1500e for MaPrimeRenov Blue profiles
