Description of the high performance anti-limestone GEMKA MIV6 Version D

Gemka® is an anti-tartar device developed by the R Cube Project company. Without consumables or maintenance, it allows you to treat your entire network against tartar, both preventively and curatively.

Designed in an ecological way (recycled materials, long life, low consumption, repairability...), it is the result of an International Patent and is based on an innovative technology of catalysis by rotating induction. Its variable frequencies automatically adapt to the hardness of the water and the flow to be treated.

Gemka® forces the limestone to crystallize homogeneously in the form of a microscopic powder in suspension, which is then evacuated with the water. In this way, limestone does not deposit in the form of scale in your network or on your surfaces and sanitary facilities.

Since the water no longer causes scale, it will gradually remove by erosion the scale already present in your pipes while leaving a protective film to prevent corrosion.

Thanks to Gemka® you finally control your tartar problems in an ecological way . Limestone which settles in the form of powder on your toilets and surfaces can be removed very easily, without product, with a sponge or cloth as soon as it appears. It is a small simple gesture to be carried out regularly before the limestone turns back into tartar.

Installation of GEMKA high performance anti-limestone

The Gemka must be installed on the main water inlet before the first branch in order to treat the entire network.

The part of the pipe on which the Gemka will be placed must be made of plastic (PE, PER, PVC), if this is not the case, it is necessary to install an adaptation sleeve which will replace this part of the pipe. When ordering the adapter sleeve, the diameter of the copper or steel pipe must be indicated.

For a diameter less than or equal to 18mm, the assembly is done without welding, above it is necessary to provide plumbing equipment for welding. Gemka® accepts pipes up to 32 mm outside diameter.

1/ How do I know if my Gemka® is working?

When in operation, 2 green light-emitting diodes light up. They are used to quickly diagnose a fault. You will have to contact the after-sales service if one or both diodes go out. A slight hissing sound can be heard and corresponds to the normal operation of the Gemka®. The variation of this slight hiss corresponds to the adaptation of the Gemka® to the characteristics of the water to be treated.

2/ How do I know if my Gemka® is effective?

Gemka® is an anti-scale, it does not remove limescale from the water but prevents it from settling in the form of scale. the water is not chemically modified and retains the goodness of its minerals.

You will notice the effectiveness of Gemka® when the water evaporates, the limestone settles in the form of a non-encrusting powder that you can easily remove as soon as it appears with a simple wipe of a sponge or cloth and without chemicals.

You can do a test starting from a clean surface (stainless steel for example) that you wet and then let dry. The next day you will see the limestone in the form of small white spots where the water drops have dried. You will then find that they are easily removed with a cloth or simply your finger. Remember to perform this simple gesture regularly before the caclair turns back into tartar.

3/ On which pipe and on which diameter should the Gemka® be installed?

Gemka® uses chamber induction technologyp turning. This is a technology similar to induction hobs. This is why Gemka® must be placed on part of the plastic piping (PE, PVC or other) without metal (no copper, galvanized steel or multilayer). This must not contain any metal otherwise Gemka® will only heat the pipe like an induction plate but will not act on the water.

Gemka® treats the volume of water that is inside the pipe placed in the treatment throat. This volume will be maximum for a DN32 SDR11 PE pipe and the Gemka® will work optimally.

4/ How does Gemka® force the crystallization of limestone in the water?

Limestone, naturally present in water, is mainly composed of Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) but also of Magnesium Carbonate (MgCO3). The limestone is dissolved there in the form of Ca2+ ions (Calcium ion) and HCO- 3 (Hydrogen carbonate ion). Water molecules that are polar, i.e. they have both a positively charged side and a negatively charged side, form a shield around these ions by orienting their charged side away from the ion. (the negative side for the calcium ion which is positive).

This solvation sphere isolates the ion from its congeners, thus promoting their dispersion in water. Without disturbance, very hard water does not deposit scale (see bottled mineral water). This sphere of solvation is broken naturally, either by friction along the pipes or by an increase in temperature, thus promoting the meeting of ions and the inhomogeneous crystallization of limestone in the form of scale along the pipes.

Gemka® generates a rotating induction field within the water creating current loops which are movements of charges (ions and water molecules). These movements weaken the solvation sphere, which promotes the meeting of ions and therefore the crystallization, but this time homogeneous, of the limestone in the form of a nanoscopic powder suspended in water.

The crystals thus formed are mainly aragonite (B) and a little vaterite (A), which are friable forms of limestone, unlike calcite (C) which is hard tartar.

5/ What happens to the crystals created by the Gemka®?

The crystals are suspended in the water as a light powder because they were created by the Gemka in a homogeneous way. They are then carried away with the water and discharged into the sewers. They do not stay in your network and no longer accumulate as scale.

Those you consume while drinking your water will be instantly dissolved by the acidity of your stomach and assimilated as if you had drunk mineral water.

6/ Can you get stones from drinking very hard water?

Physiological stones such as kidney or gallstones are crystals of different natures and origins than tartar crystals. For kidney stones, for example, these are crystals of calcium oxalate (a normal waste product of metabolism and the main constituent of urine).

On the contrary, calcium plays an important role in the cellular functioning of the kidneys. Its absence or deficiency causes a disorder at the origin of kidney stones. Calcium deficiency can also be the cause of cardiovascular or hepatic problems.

7/ How long does it take to descale an installation that is already scaled up?

It depends on your degree of scaling, the hardness of your water and your water consumption. Since descaling is linked to the circulation of water in your installation, the more water will circulate in the installation, the more it will descale.

Similarly, the more your pipes are descaled, the greater the volume of water circulating and the more the descaling effect will increase. Similarly, the harder the water, the more calcium carbonate it contains and therefore will contain nano-crystals after treatment with your Gemka®. the descaling effect being linked to the number of crystals present, the harder your water is, the more descaling it will become after it has passed through your Gemka® device.

What is the Gemka anti-scaling system?

Explanations and advice from Fabien Riera of R.CUBE Projects, for www.questionsdemarche.com. Gemka is an anti-scale that treats limescale problems in a preventive and curative way. It will prevent scaling and descale by natural erosion. It has the advantage of treating limestone without consumables, without maintenance, without generating pollution. The device is very easy to install.
  • What is scaling in your water pipes?

Calcium (Ca) and Carbonate (CO3), components of limestone, are naturally dissolved and suspended in water. the molecular heating caused by the circulation or the rise in temperature of hard water, will cause the precipitation (scaling) of limestone (CaCO3) in the pipes, as well as on the various resistances of household appliances and other heaters. water.

Tartar is the "cholesterol" of your pipes!

  • Tartar, a financial plague

-In any heating body, energy consumption increases by 10% per mm of encrusted limestone
- Your pipes are clogged
- Your taps and toilets are leaking
- Limestone makes you consume up to 50% more detergents
- Use of many expensive anti-limestone products (softeners, descalers, regenerating salts, etc.)
- Abnormal and premature wear of your appliances and water heaters?

For a family, this can represent up to 800?/year

Gemka® is a device developed by a French family company based in the Alpes Maritimes, the company R Cube Projet®.
