Description of EasyHOME® PureAIR Compact Premium MW & Connect single-flow ventilation

The EasyHOME PureAIR COMPACT Premium Micro-Watt (MW) or Connect single-flow CMV was developed by Aldes to offer an optimum between the disadvantages of a self-adjusting CMV (energy loss linked to substantial ventilation of the home) and a hygro-adjustable VMC (ventilation too low in the absence of humidity to evacuate other pollutants).

As the PureAIR system involves greater overall air renewal in the home without energy recovery (single-flow CMV), which is difficult to quantify, we invite you to ask your thermal design office if you wish to favor this solution in your new house RT2012.

How does Aldes EasyHOME PureAIR single-flow ventilation work?

The PureAIR system improves the indoor air quality of your home by acting in two ways:

• Filtration of incoming air by installing AirFILTER filter grids which retain 99% of pollen larger than 10 microns

• Modulation of the ventilation rate according to the level of pollutants detected at the level of the ventilation group (VOC, CO2 and Humidity).

The rotation speed of the fan of this single-flow CMV is thus slaved to 1 central electronic VOC/CO2 sensor and 3 humidity sensors located at the level of the unit's connections dedicated to the kitchen and the bathrooms. These 3 separate sensors improve air renewal either when you take a shower or when you cook to properly detect a specific increase in humidity in one of these rooms and evacuate it quickly. This is not the case and it is not necessary to have several sensors for CO2 or VOCs because these pollutants are mainly a nuisance in living rooms and the dilution has already been made when the air in the living rooms life was swept away then diluted to the extraction rooms which are the toilets, the kitchen or the bathrooms. The objective is therefore rather to guarantee an overall minimum level of VOCs and CO2.

The PureAIR Compact PREMIUM MW (Micro-Watt) solution performs the following functions:

• Daily mode which adapts the ventilation speed according to the quantity of pollutant detected,
• Bath/Kitchen Boost mode which automatically engages high speed when one of the 3 sensors measures an increase in humidity.

The PureAIR Compact PREMIUM Connect ventilation is equipped in addition to the 2 automatic Daily and Boost Bath/Kitchen modes, 2 manual modes controlled via a smartphone application as follows:

• Holiday mode for which air renewal will be minimal,
• Guest mode which will allow you to engage the maximum ventilation speed when there are many of you. This mode compensates for the inconvenience linked to dilution by evacuating the CO2 peak much more quickly than if the system managed it autonomously.

The Aldes Connect Box modem that equips the PureAIR Compact PREMIUM Connect solution also allows real-time monitoring of the pollutant concentration detected by the probes on your smartphone application. This modem can be purchased later to transform your EasyHOME PureAIR MW installation into EasyHOME PureAIR Connect.

This extra flat ventilation model (thickness less than 19 cm) can be installed in a technical room or cupboard or in a false ceiling. The box is equipped with anti-vibration pads and is simply installed using 2 fixing screws. The other advantage of this ventilation system is the possibility of choosing much prettier extraction vents or grilles.

Note that for networks installed in false ceilings or linings, we recommend installing a semi-rigid HDPE network or a flat rigid PVC network. It is mandatory to insulate the network in unheated volume to avoid condensation.

For an F4 type accommodation equipped with a bathroom and a toilet, the PureAir box in Daily mode will consume around 7 Wh of electricity.
