This boxless awning with a 160cm, 210cm, 260cm or 310cm fabric overhang is stylish and strong which guarantees long-lasting intensive use. Thanks to its custom-made construction and the possibility of being motorised, it is suitable for all south-facing windows.
This blind has a universal fixing to put on the wall or ceiling, adjusting the angle of inclination, which is to be specified in the product sheet:
The fixings as well as the forged aluminium arms are robust and resistant, which allows excellent stability and wind resistance. The structure of the awning is powder-coated and guarantees protection against bad weather and corrosion. The fabrics are impregnated with a protective product that also prevents dirt from sticking to the fabric.
For motorised models, the awnings are delivered with a Somfy RTS or Somfy IO motor.
The Somfy RTS motor can retract manually with the emergency crank if there's a blackout. It is a ø70 mm tubular motor in 40Nm with a mechanical limit switch.

Somfy Wired Motor= model AXIS-H of 40Nm is dedicated to the awning without box, 70mm tubular diameter, with mechanical limit switch and 150cm emergency crank provided, for manual declutch if needed. Supplied with Somfy INIS UNO switch
Somfy RTS Radio Motor=30 or 40Nm NEMO-H model (same price and defined by the manufacturer), tubular diameter 70mm or 78mm, with mechanical limit switch and emergency crank handle supplied 150cm, for manual declutch if required. Choose the motorisation kit you want:
----> 1-RTS Kit = Somfy RTS radio motor supplied with a 1-channel remote control + emergency crank handle.
----> 2-RTS Kit = Somfy RTS radio motor delivered with a 1-channel remote control + wired Soliris RTS anemometer + emergency crank handle.
----> 3-RTS Kit = Somfy RTS radio motor delivered with a 4-channel remote control that provides the sun sensor blocking function + wired anemometer sun-wind Soliris RTS + emergency crank handle.
----> 4-RTS Kit = Somfy RTS radio motor supplied with a 1-channel remote control + Somfy wind-shock radio sensor Eolis 3D RTS + emergency crank handle.
-Somfy IO radio motor= 40Nm SUNEA IO model, with automatic limit switch adjustment, but without manual emergency declutch. The advantage of this motor is that the radio receiver is integrated into the motor, making installation faster. But above all it allows a smooth handling of your awning, thanks to the reduction of the motor limit switch pulling force, and the bi-directional communication of the motor which allows to send its positioning on your smartphone if you have the CONNEXOON box (not supplied with the awning).
You can either choose the Situo 1 pure 1 channel radio remote control or the Smoove 1 AM IO Pure radio wall switch. You can then couple these IO sensors (battery operated) to the motor:
----> Kit 1-IO = Eolis IO shock wind sensor (white or black sensor)
----> Kit 2-IO = SUNIS WireFree IO sun sensor
----> Kit 3-IO = Kit 1-IO + Kit 2 IO sensor
----> Kit 4-IO = Kit 1-IO + CONNEXOON Box
----> Kit 5-IO = Kit 2-IO + CONNEXOON Box
----> Kit 6-IO = Kit 3-IO + CONNEXOON Box
All acrylic awning fabrics are impregnated with the protective product TEFLON or SCOTCHGARD to form a suitable protective layer and enhance the waterproof properties of the fabric. This solution also prevents dirt from sticking to the fabric. Acid rain or cleaning the fabric with abrasive products are factors that can damage this protective layer.
