On sale since the beginning of 2021, the Link key is the result of a partnership between Bubendorff and Hager.

In particular, it allows you to control your roller shutters with your iPhone or Android phone.

It is compatible with Alexa (Amazon) and Google voice assistants. A single key can control up to 30 shutters.

How was the installation of the USB Link key?

The installation of the key is super fast. Just connect it to the Coviva Hager.

Charles uses his Link key to control his shutters remotely. In particular to simulate a presence during his absence.

What are the points of improvement of this Bubendorff home automation?

The key itself does not pose any particular concern: Easy installation, simple pairing of shutters.

Simply, it is considered that for shutters manufactured before 2018, the status feedback will only be made on the states: Open / Closed / Between open.

For shutters manufactured after 2018 (and depending on the type of shutter), the status feedback will be expressed in % opening .

For his part, Charles finds the initial investment significant (Coviva box + Link key) . In addition, he has for the moment set aside the use of the Google voice assistant.
