Self-supporting adjustable sun shade for facade installation
With a BSO, you avoid overheating in summer while keeping natural and soft light in your interior. The adjustable sunshade is the perfect outdoor sun protection that combines design and aesthetics.
The box is self -supporting on the slides, which guide the adjustable slats. These are fixed to the wall with spacer brackets.
This self-supporting structure facilitates installation: protect yourself from the heat with simple arrangements around your windows. Furthermore, unlike a roller shutter, the adjustable slats allow you to control the brightness.

The bso is fixed directly to the wall
The installation of shading blinds is a response to the 2012 Thermal Regulations and especially to the need for free solar gain in winter while protecting against the vertical rays of the sun in summer.
Sun protection is strongly recommended if you do not have "sun caps" above your joinery.
The same self-supporting sunscreen, reassembled in the box.
You can clearly see the spacer legs in the wall
Depending on the orientation of the slats, the brise soleil can let in up to 90% of the outside light. In the closed position, an external venetian blind is not a totally blackout system.

The Z90 blade
- The slats are made of profiled aluminum with a thickness of 0.42 mm and a width of 92.5 mm.
Possibility of almost completely closing the blindsUnlike blinds with traditionally shaped slats. - The adjustable slats are equipped with a sound-absorbing seal to reduce noise when fully closed.
- The slats are covered with a lacquer coating guaranteeing resistance to bad weather.
- Slats are maintained by the Hagofix ® System - polyester fibers double reinforced with aramid (used in particular in the manufacture of bulletproof vests) used for the textile tapes which support the slats.
- These materials are highly resistant to stretching and scratching, stabilized by a thermal process and are resistant to UV rays and other atmospheric conditions.
Textile is more resistant than cable systems that corrode over time!
The load bar which is the last slat is solid for better static support of the assembly.
The orientation of the blades is done whatever the height.
When the blind goes down, the slats go vertical, and when it goes up the slats are horizontal.
Maximum dimension
You can go up to 4500 mm, both for width and length.

The order width must be equal to the width of your opening + 100 mm .
If your opening is 1000 mm, we recommend an order width of 1100 mm. Thus, the BSO will protrude on each side of your opening by 50 mm.
The fixing point will be 30mm from the edge of your opening, so if the plaster is 15mm thick you are sure to fix into the wall.

Here are the guide supports that we offer.
We recommend the self-supporting support for easier installation , if you want to glue your box to the facade, and if the width of the BSO < 3 m .
The round guide support allows the box to be moved away from the facade.
Prices shown include all mounting brackets. A telephone confirmation will be made when ordering to validate your assembly.
The height that you will indicate in the field of the product sheet corresponds
at the total height of the BSO = opening height + cassette height .
Below an opening of 1760mm, 240mm will be added to your opening height
For an opening between 1760 and 3070, 330 mm will be added to your opening height
Beyond and up to 3610 opening, 390 mm will be added
Here are the installation photos of your future Brise soleil orientable with an extruded aluminum box for installation on the facade.
The photos show the round guide support, but we recommend the freestanding one (free option to be selected).
The assembly of the slides on the photos is the assembly of the slides on the outside, but you also have the possibility of putting the slides inside the box as in the first photos of this description. (free option to select).
THE ASSEMBLY STEPS FOR THE FREESTANDING SUNRISE
- Return the aluminum box to the ground and screw the stirrups in the bottom into the small plates that slide
- Dismantle the sides and remove the front face of the box if the box is more than 240 mm high
- Unscrew the stirrups as much as possible and spread the jaws
- Drill the back of the safe and pass your cable if possible
- Turn over the blade package with the motor and slide it into the trunk, until the clamp closes on the motor rail
- Take a cloth and protect the blades, before screwing the caliper toin the bottom of the trunk, with a large screwdriver
- Do this for each stirrup
- Replace the front face and cheeks
- Secure the guide rail retaining bracket on each side in the trunk
- Still with the trunk upside down, place the slides on each side in the trunk. (cut out the black seal on the back of the slide on the height of the box)
- Stand your awning upright and mark the locations of the mounting brackets on the wall.
- Drill the wall, attach the legs to the wall, then to the slide. The BSO is therefore standing, fixed to the wall
- Finalize the electrical connection
- If you have a somfy radio motor, carry out the complete motor reset procedure (last procedure) to then pair the remote control.
