What is a roller shutter winch?
This type of part ensures the transmission of the force exerted when you rotate your roller shutter rod. This is what then allows the movement of the apron.
There are 3 types of winches:
- Wheel and worm winch
- Bevel gear winch
- Spur gear winch that requires lateral movement transmission
What is 1/4 or 1/6 information?
This is the winch reduction ratio. If we take the example of a 1/6 ratio, this means in concrete terms that for one turn of the shutter winding shaft, you must make 6 turns of the crank.
