Description

Bubendorff reference: 221190 (Left motor) / 221189 (Right motor) delivered with reference 270768 (1.2 adapter) - for ID1 range

The 1.2 adapter is mounted on RG motors, R motors or R X3D motors to replace the ID1 motor equipped with the old connection (1.2) on shutters manufactured before 1998.

However, be careful for these shutters from before 1998, it is advisable to dismantle the motor before placing your order. Indeed, since 1998, your shutter has already been able to undergo an after-sales service with the complete replacement of the cheek and the motor. Here are the 2 possible solutions:

Connectors from before 1998, you are on the right product page.

Connections after 1998, your engine has already had an after-sales service with a change in the flange. In this case you have to go back in the engine configurator and consider that your shutter is Between 1999 and 2011 .

100% original Bubendorff spare part

  • BUBENDORFF radio engine with individual control type R
  • Torque: 33Nm
  • Automatic limit switches
  • Comes with 1.2 adapter
  • Delivered with its wall-mounted radio transmitter (223026). Note: the R radio motor works exclusively with an ID radio transmitter labeled with the same S/N number.
  • Compatible with additional transmitter (226001), ID2 clock (229026), 5-channel transmitter (229017) and universal interface (229018).

Is the R radio engine centralizable?

The R radio motor cannot be centralized with other shutters if you are replacing a motor in an existing shutter installation which was operating with a carrier current protocol (CPL - centralization via the electrical network).
On the other hand, this motor is potentially centralizable using the radio protocol of the motor, this means that the motors of your roller shutters having been replaced by motors of this same type R (radio protocol) can be centralized with one of the following Bubendorff radio remote controls :

If you want the motor to be replaced to be immediately compatible with your current centralization, then take RG 25 Nm radio motor + Bag of Adapter 1.2 (shutter before 1998)

How to mount the 1.2 or 2.0 adapter on an R or RG Bubendorff engine?

The R, RG or R X3D engines are the latest generation of engines manufactured by Bubendorff. These new Bubendorff motors require the installation of adapters to be mounted in place of the old motors which are no longer manufactured today. You will find in the photo assembly below how you will have to do to mount your 2.0 or 1.2 adapter on your Bubendorff R, RG or R X3D engine.

Example of assembly with the RG motor and the 2.0 adapter:

How to be sure of the motor torque to choose?

R motors are now available in 10 Nm, 25 Nm and 33 Nm torque. If 6 or 10 Nm is marked on your motor, you can be sure that the 10 Nm motor will be suitable. If it is registered 20 or 25 Nm, you can take the 25Nm motor and if it is registered 30 or 33 Nm then orient yourself on the 33 Nm.

It is not advisable to take a torque higher than that which is in place. In fact, as the motor is stopped by force at the level of the high and low stops, you risk breaking the fasteners of the apron (called automatic locks) of the shutter on their axis, or even damaging the slats of the apron.
However, if you want to increase the torque of your motor, remember to add one or two pairs of automatic locks to your order.

If you have any doubts about the engine torque in place, do not hesitate to send us a request with the SN number of the shutter either by chat (bottom right) or via our form.

How to replace the R radio motor?

All the disassembly and assembly steps are given in the downloadable instructions in the "Attached files" tab.

What are the conditions of application of the guarantee on Bubendorff roller shutter motors?

The warranty is valid for 5 years from the engine invoice date. If your engine requires a warranty claim, you can contact our services, the engine must then be returned with its transmitter. You will need to make sure beforehand that the motor has not been punctured or has not suffered an electrical surge. Indeed, in the last 2 cases mentioned, it is not an engine fault and the manufacturer will not apply the guarantee.

This engine seems longer than the one I currently have, is it compatible?

Don't worry, this motor model is compatible with your shutter, you will just have to drill the metal shaft further to rivet it, be careful not to drill the motor, the guarantee would be inapplicable.

Is the motor sold with its remote control, will my old control still work?

All Bubendorff radio motors are sold with a transmitter previously paired in the factory with the motor, your old transmitter cannot under any circumstances control this new motor, and if an additional control is needed, a transmitter must be added to your order. additional removable.

Is there a particular commissioning setting on this model?

No, powering up and setting the shutter to the upper and lower stops will allow it to initialize on its own, if you do not want the shutter to stop automatically at the upper stop, it will then be possible to configure it (only the top stop can be configured).
The upper stop adjustment steps are available in the downloadable instructions in the "Attached files" tab.
