Bubendorff: changes to the warranty extension for 2022

Bubendorff, one of France's leading manufacturers of roller shutters, has recently implemented a new warranty extension for 2022. This warranty extension is an improved service that allows customers to benefit from increased protection for their shutters. Enhanced reliability for motors and rolling shutters

Until now, Bubendorff's quality tests were carried out over 21,000 cycles. From 2022, this figure increases to 30,000 .

Note that the roller shutter manufacturer's requirement is twice as high as the NF standard (14,000 cycles).

Bubendorff is today the only manufacturer that ensures such high durability, both on the motors and on the roller shutters.

Evolution of the Bubendorff After-Sales Service and Guarantee

Guarantee of new Bubendorff roller shutters: adjustable from 2 to 10 years

For more than 20 years, the Bubendorff guarantee was 7 years. From 2022, the basic warranty increases to 2 years, with the possibility of choosing an optional extension to 5, 7 or even 10 years (ID+ and ID3 range).

• 5-year warranty: 24 euros including tax per shutter
• 7-year warranty: 48 euros including tax per shutter
• 10-year warranty: 84 euros including tax per shutter

It should also be noted that an individual now has the choice of purchasing an extended warranty even on a shutter already installed. You just have to go to the Bubendorff site.

This extended warranty can be activated retroactively on all rolling shutters since 2012.

20-year flat-rate assistance

Launched in 2020, the 15-year Assistance with a fixed repair price is increased to 20 years.

This change is also retroactive : shutters installed from 2002 can benefit from this service. It is an important element to ensure the durability and reliability of roller shutters in the long term.

Repairing is more economical and more ecological than changing!

Price increase

The year 2021 was marked by a sharp increase in prices in all areas (steel, oil, etc.).

The Alsatian roller shutter brand has not escaped the situation. The impact on prices was very limited in 2021 (+5%).

For 2022, the variations are different depending on the range.

ID3 range (Mono-DP368)

The K100 rate increases to 768 euros including tax.

ID+ range (DP 368)

The increase is around 10% compared to the 2021 tariff. It should also be taken into account that the DP408 and DP413 decks will be more affected, as they are directly affected by the increase in the price of aluminium.

Bubendorff spare parts

In 2022, the manufacturer will apply an increase of around 10% on the components of these roller shutters.

Nevertheless, note that these increases are limited compared to the real increase in raw materials.

iD-zip : a zip screen

Bubendorff launches the ID-Zip on the iD3 range: sun protection at a price including VAT and including installation. This product will benefit from the same guarantees and the same reliability requirements.

Evolution of the Nth/Rth block : poses - 7 minutes

This block, modified in 2020 to achieve excellent sound insulation (54dB), will evolve to facilitate assembly.

This bay block will become one of the quickest to install on the market: the sealed end caps as well as the end insulation will be delivered pre-assembled in the factory.

Thanks to this, the indicative installation time drops to less than 7 minutes.
