How to reverse the direction of rotation of your Bubendorff roller shutter motor?

You notice an error in the control of your shutter: you press the button for it to go up but it goes down. And reciprocally.

How to reverse the direction of rotation of your shutter and return to normal? On this page, we present two procedures, depending on the model of your transmitter.

Reversal procedure for a Bubendorff 2-button remote

1. Make sure that nothing obstructs the movement of your electric roller shutter
2. Remove the battery from the remote control of your Bubendorff shutter: open it, remove the battery and press Down 3 times
3. Switch off the Bubendorff roller shutter power supply for 10 seconds
4. Restore power to your radio shutter
5. Replace the Bubendorff remote control battery
6. Put the shutter at half height. Do not hesitate to press the remote control several times to restart it
7. Quickly (very short press: 0.2 seconds): Press both buttons simultaneously (up + down)
8. Release the Down button (only)
9. Press Down
10. Release Rise
11. Press Up
12. Wait for the shutter to be acknowledged. (Wait for the roller shutter apron to start moving)

Reversal procedure for a Bubendorff 3-button remote

If you have a 3-button transmitter, follow these steps:

1. If your roller shutter is powered by the electrical network: switch off the circuit breaker for 7 seconds and restore the power supply. If you have an autonomous roller shutter (solar shutter), go to step 2.
2. Open the case of your main remote control (with the SN number on the back) using a flat screwdriver and remove the battery (Find out how to open your remote control)
3. Wait 3 seconds.
4. Insert the battery.
5. Press once on “Up”. The shutter does not react.
6. Press “Up” a second time. The shutter goes down.
7. Press “Up” a third time. The shutter stops.
8. Press the "Up" and "Down" buttons simultaneously.
9. Keep pressing "Up" while releasing "Down".
10. Press "Down", the "Up" button still pressed.
11. Release “Up” while resso much on “Descent”.
12. Click on "Up". Release both buttons simultaneously.

If all is good: the shutter will go down then go up a few centimeters: "acknowledgement" is successful
