Heliofrance 300L domestic hot water tank

The 300L tank volume which includes a reserve of around 200L of water heated by the hydraulic or electrical booster when necessary is well suited to a family of 4 to 5 people.

The 300L tank is equipped as standard with a domestic hot water exchanger, optionally with an electric resistance and/or a hydraulic auxiliary exchanger and the regulation elements necessary for the operation and optimization of solar hot water production.

The water stored in the tank is always the same, it is used to store calories, it is called dead water. The annual (or even bi-annual) water top-up constitutes the main part of the maintenance of the installation. When there is a draw-off of domestic hot water, the cold water that enters the tank passes through an exchanger submerged in the hot storage water, it is reheated and sent to the draw-off point.

The volume of domestic hot water stored (only that present in the exchanger) is therefore very low and its quality is not degraded as it could be after too long storage.

Installation of the Heliofrance self-draining solar tank:

The ball: The ball is compact (Width 67cm x Depth 55cm x Height 180cm).

The connections are made on the top of the tank, which is the most practical installation format.

This requires anticipating a tank location to make the hydraulic connections from above while allowing the solar connection which connects the sensors to the tank to respect a slope of at least 4% without creating a counter slope.

The balloon is delivered pre-equipped and ready to connect.
