Description

Universal G4 filter for all VMC single or double-flow

This G4 filter retains 98% of the particles present in the air

This filter is compatible with all ventilation units on the market (Aldes, Brink, Atlantic, Unelvent, etc.).

We cut it in our workshops to the desired size. You finally have an economical solution to replace your filters more often. We always cut a few mm more your filter. And we often offer a 5th filter if there is a cutout left..;-)

This will allow you to make a significant saving compared to the filters sold by the manufacturers.

If your filter is in cardboard media, open it up and replace it with our universal filter. The majority of machines are equipped with G4 filters.

If you have an M5, or F7 pleated filter then these filters are much more efficient than the G4, but is it really necessary?

The proposed filter has a thickness of 15 mm. You can put two if necessary to replace a pleated F7 filter or other. In this case, order several filters of the same size to put them on top of each other in your filtration support.

G4 filter: frequently asked questions

What is a G4 filter?

This is a filter positioned upstream of the ducts of your vmc, to retain the particular averages.

The objective is to ensure the durability of the motor of your central ventilation unit by avoiding clogging, which would force it (risk of premature breakage as well as excessive electrical consumption).

The "G4" classification corresponds to the group of the largest particles, called "coarse filter" (according to standard EN 779).

M5
Band Class Final pressure drop (Pa) Average gravimetric yield (Am) of synthetic dust (%) Average efficiency (Em) for 0.4 µm particles (%) Minimum efficiency for 0.4 µm particles (%)
Rude G1 250 50 ≤ Am ≤ 65 - -
G2 250 65 ≤ Am ≤ 80 - -
G3 250 80 ≤ Am ≤ 90 - -
G4 250 90 ≤ Am - -
Medium 450 - 40 ≤ Em ≤ 60 -
M6 450 - 60 ≤ Em ≤ 80 -
End F7 450 - 80 ≤ Em ≤ 90 35
F8 450 - 90 ≤ Em ≤ 95 55
F9 450 - 95 ≤ Em 70

What are the differences between an F7 filter and a G4 filter?

The F7 filter is intended for blowing and provides finer filtration, hence the classification "F" for "fine". Filtration is therefore more precise.

Why change your filter on the fresh air blown into the house or your offices?

Simply to filter dust, mosquitoes, or other particles that could clog your heat exchanger and your engines. With a clogged filter, your engine forces . So by changing them regularly , you extend the life of your VMC installation.

Why change your stale air filter at home or office?

Indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air! We keep repeating it, because it has been measured and recognized that indoor air is five times more polluted than outdoor air. Therefore, your stale air intake filter is very important to prevent clogging of your heat exchanger.
