How does a UVc air purifier work?
Anemo air purifiers use the most advanced technology in terms of disinfection and treatment of ambient air (Filtration + Photocatalysis + UVc).
They combine 3 of the most efficient technologies on the market for disinfection and treatment of ambient air:
- Recognized and widely used UVc radiation in the treatment of drinking water will act directly on bacteriological pollution. The UV treatment eliminates bacteria, viruses or mold present in the air from the first pass through the device.
- Activated carbon filtration traps remaining unwanted elements as well as VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
- Photocatalysis finally acts to decompose these organic pollutants into water (H2O) and CO2.
On the first pass, these devices destroy 80% of pollutants (bacteria, mold, voc). The rest is retained in the activated carbon filter which will then be treated by Photocatalysis.
The HEGOA 50 or 100 device is used in workshops or storage areas. For spaces requiring quiet, opt for the SILUXE 50 or 100 silent version, selecting the right model.
This professional air purifier is used in particular in the medical environment: many dental offices use it.
How to choose your UV air purifier?
The device is selected depending on the volume of the room. Ideally, the entire volume of air should be treated at least once per hour.
For example, to disinfect a 30m² room with a ceiling height of 3m, i.e. 90 m3, you will choose the HEGOA or SILUXE 100 air purifier.
The SILUXE 50 or 100 air purifier is the silent version of the HEGOA 50 or 100 air purifier.
The SILUXE model is recommended in homes, medical environments such as dental offices, classrooms, offices or workspaces.
In the event of a volume greater than 100 m3, the number of devices to be installed should be multiplied and distributed at different points in the room to be treated.
