DN32mm dry siphon specially designed for Renovent Excellent 300, 400 and 450 devices.
The dry siphon guarantees a perfect seal without the risk of drying out. It is a very interesting alternative to overcome the risk of drying out of a conventional wet siphon. In the event of drying out, a significant amount of air is sucked in through the condensate evacuation pipe. The first consequence is the air imbalance between the blown air and the sucked in air and the risk of bad odors rising. The second, more serious consequence is the inability of the condensates to flow out of the CMV. The fan is then subjected to too much humidity and will seize up quickly.
The Brink dry trap is equipped with a ball that allows water to pass in one direction (condensate water from the heat exchanger) but does not allow air to pass in the other.
