Rolling shutter with aluminum box to be integrated into external thermal insulation (ITE) from 160 mm to 200 mm

The roller shutter box for ITE is square to facilitate integration into the insulation of your facade.

A secure roller shutter

ZF Cliksur automatic locks are associated with the shutter to live in a safer home. They prevent the aluminum curtain from the shutter from being lifted from the outside.

Technical characteristics of the roller shutter for facade insulation:

  • a 7 mm thick hard polystyrene plaster support
  • 51 × 21 mm extruded aluminum slides accompanied by a soundproof seal
  • 40 × 9 mm APD (Double Wall Aluminum) slats with high density polyurethane foam (90 kg/m³) and reinforced strapping

How to operate this shutter to be built into your insulation or behind cladding:

  • Manual: winch with crank or direct pull with key lock.
  • Motorized radio: control your shutters from anywhere in the house using your remote control. Nice®, Simu® or Somfy® (Somfy® S & SO RS 100 IO).
  • SOMFY OXIMO RTS solar radio motor with remote control

  • Wired motorized: your shutters open from the wall switch connected to the electrical circuit of the house. Nice®, Simu® or Somfy®
  • Limit switch adjustment is manual or automatic depending on the motors.

The box depth indicated includes the 20mm of insulation glued to the front of the box.

How to take its ratings for your ITE component?

At this stage of your project, you only have the dimensions of your raw panel without insulation.

But your facade designer can give you theoretical finished panel dimensions.

If you have the finished table dimensions:

In this case, you must enter the width and height under the box, which your facade specialist has guaranteed.
And you put 1 mm in all the over-thickness boxes. We invite you to revalidate the odds several times with him.

If you do not have the finished table dimensions:

These are these oddswhich you must fill in the "Table width" and "Table height" fields. Click on each field to see a bubble appear with more explanation.

Then you must enter the right and left over-thickness insulation.

This corresponds to the total thickness of your complex insulating the boards (glue + insulation + finished coating)

Generally this gives 30 mm of insulation + 5 mm of glue + 5 mm of plaster = 40 mm.

This is why we have set 40 mm by default. You will not be able to put 0 mm, but only 1 mm at least.

Then you must enter the extra thickness of insulation under the lintel and the extra thickness of insulation on the threshold. This is the same principle as for the tables on the right and on the left.

For the shutter without a screen and with slides without the wings, the standard slide will be reinforced beyond 2500 mm.

Sliders with wings allow you to fix the inside of the board, on the studs or wood you may have put before the ETI. The 40mm garlic return is sufficient.

Le produit est sympa, car dans une isolation par l'extérieur tout est noyé visuellement. J'ai passé pas mal de temps pour arriver à paramétrer une autre position de fin de course (Notice non dispo en 2020), car 1 des volets donne sur une terrasse qui doit être relevée. Le Suivi est correct par La Centrale Eco. J'en ai posé 2, et maintenant j'ai pu synchroniser ouverture et fermeture sur 1 Seule Radiocommande.
