This awning comes with a half-cassette, also called an awning, to protect the fabric and mechanism from the elements.
This awning with its retractable valance has a fabric projection of 160cm, 210cm, 260cm, 310cm or 360cm.
Elegant and robust, it will guarantee you long-lasting intensive use, especially with the SOMFY IO Home motorization which will regulate the torque at the end of the stroke.
Thanks to its custom manufacturing and various options, it adapts to all south-facing windows.
This blind can be easily and quickly installed on the wall or ceiling. The tilt angle is adjustable depending on whether it is mounted on the wall or ceiling.
The 22.5 cm wide aluminum canopy protects the fabric from harsh weather conditions when rolled up and adds an aesthetic touch to the product.
The roll-up valance is a new feature available as an option which is also compatible with the standard 21cm long valance.
The specific features of the retractable valance are as follows:

A very sturdy awning!
The forged aluminum brackets and arms are robust and durable, ensuring excellent stability and wind resistance. The awning frame is powder-coated for protection against weathering and corrosion. The fabric is treated with a protective coating that also prevents dirt from adhering to the material.

For motorized models, awnings are supplied with a Somfy RTS or Somfy IO motor.
In the event of a power outage, the Somfy RTS motor can be manually retracted using the emergency crank. It is a tubular motor with a diameter of 70 mm and a torque of 40 Nm, featuring a mechanical limit switch.
We offer complete kits, with remote control or switch:
The Somfy AXIS-H 40Nm wired motor is designed for awnings without a cassette, with a 70mm diameter tubular frame, mechanical limit switches, and a 150cm manual override crank handle for easy release if needed. It comes with the Somfy INIS UNO switch.
Somfy RTS Radio Motor = NEMO-H model of 30 or 40Nm (same price and defined by the manufacturer), tubular diameter 70mm or 78mm, with mechanical limit switch and emergency crank supplied 150cm , for manual disengagement if needed.
Choose the motorization kit you want:
→ Kit 1-RTS = Somfy RTS radio motor supplied with a 1-channel remote control + emergency crank
→ Kit 2-RTS = Somfy RTS radio motor supplied with a 1-channel remote control + Soliris RTS wired wind-sun anemometer + emergency crank
→ 3-RTS Kit = Somfy RTS radio motor supplied with a 4-channel remote control that provides the sun sensor locking function + Soliris RTS wired wind-sun anemometer + emergency crank
→ 4-RTS kit = Somfy RTS radio motorp; delivered with a 1 channel remote control + Somfy radio wind-shock sensor Eolis 3D RTS radio + emergency crank.
Somfy IO Radio Motor = model SUNEA IO with 40Nm of torque, featuring automatic limit switch adjustment, but without a manual override. The advantage of this motor is that the radio receiver is integrated, making installation faster. But above all, it allows for smoother operation of your awning, thanks to reduced motor torque at the end of travel and bidirectional communication, which allows the motor to send its position to your smartphone if you have the CONNEXOON box (not included with the awning).
You can either choose the Situo 1 pure 1 channel radio remote control, or the Smoove 1 AM IO Pure radio wall switch.
You can then connect these IO sensors (battery-powered) to the motor:
→ Kit 1-IO = Eolis IO wind shock sensor (white or black sensor)
→ Kit 2-IO = SUNIS WireFree IO Sun Sensor
→ Kit 3-IO = Kit 1-IO + Kit 2 IO sensor
→ Kit 4-IO = Kit 1-IO + CONNEXOON Box
→ Kit 5-IO = Kit 2-IO + CONNEXOON Box
→ Kit 6-IO = Kit 3-IO + CONNEXOON Box

All acrylic awning fabrics are impregnated with Teflon or Scotchgard protective coating to form a suitable protective layer and enhance the fabric's waterproof properties. This solution also prevents dirt from adhering to the fabric. Acid rain or cleaning the fabric with abrasive products can damage this protective layer.
