Where to install iD-Zip?
Anywhere, windows, bay windows, verandas, and pergolas. It doesn't need to be placed in front of a window.
Here is an example of installation on a veranda.
Recommendation of the canvas shade according to the need:
Dark
- Against heat (class 4*)

Intelligent solar control, present on all solar shutters in the ID3 range, allows you to automate your canvas according to the temperature and the level of sunlight.

Summer daytime against strong light and temperatures
Intermediate closure for thermal protection, ventilation and brightness.
In the evening in winter as night falls and temperatures drop
Thermal protection provided by the complete closure.
To protect yourself from the sun and prying eyes, also discover our custom-made sliding panels, available with fabric or with horizontal shutter-type slats.
Ease of assembly and solidity:
2-part aluminum slides that can be unclipped for installation.
Load bar with steel ballast to promote canvas tension.
Zipped canvas on the side slides for better wind resistance.
We would like to inform you of several improvements, effective since June, concerning the iD-Zip comfort canvas.
The iD-Zip packaging has evolved with the addition of reinforcement pieces at the ends of the box. Tightly mounted longitudinally in the cardboard, these pieces help to immobilize the box in the event of impacts and reinforce its protection .
The method of fixing PVs in internal winding is also evolving.
The PV support will now be fixed by 2 screws (stainless steel self-drilling screw with domed head Ø 3.5 x 9.5), in addition to the double-sided adhesive on the box.
Please note, for after-sales service interventions, make sure you follow the above fixing dimensions precisely to avoid the risk of touching the canvas.
Systematically supplied with the first iD-Zip of the order from the start of the commercial launch, until the end of December 2022.
This slide disassembly tool will then be available only in service part ref. 234014 .
Since week 22/2022, iD-ZIPs with internal roll-up (No. 1) are systematically delivered with covers as indicated in the instructions.
For your information, the centering tab has been modified to allow the installation of these covers.
Furthermore, for an external winding (No. 3 and 4) a set of 2 covers can be ordered with ref. 235082.
The S/N will be requested when ordering in order to match the color of the box: dark frame color = black cover; light frame = white cover.
