Tradi ID+ Bubendorff shutter with adjustable blade: let in light but not heat

This Tradi roller shutter, formerly called ActivHome, fits into titan boxes to completely disappear into the facade.


We use the term adjustable apron for this Bubendorff roller shutter, because you orient the slats in two positions:

  • When the apron is completely unrolled, therefore in the closed position, it will open one slat out of two by default, at 85°
  • By pressing the "up" button on the radio remote control and/or on the wall switch (4-wire hybrid radio/wired motor) the apron will then close by orienting the slat at 5° in relation to the vertical.

ROLLER SHUTTER WITH ADJUSTABLE BLADE BUBENDORFF

Characteristics of the Tradi ID+ roller shutter with Bubendorff adjustable slats:

  • Solar motor, hybrid radio, or hybrid radio/wired
  • Apron with every other slat that opens in the closed position
  • The apron is not totally blackout because it always lets a stream of air and light pass between the slats
  • Reinforcement between the slats every 1 m
  • Inner slide seal with a medium gray color
  • Two positions for the blade which is oriented: 85° or 5°
  • Protrusion of the blade of 25mm compared to the slide,
  • Upper apron locking with automatic locks at the motor axis
  • Lower locking at the level of the final slat in the lower part, thanks to a slat tip with an anti-tearing system
  • Roller shutter available only in external winding.


With this adjustable shutter, you combine the flexibility of a BSO and the solidity of a rolling shutter.

Solar collector installation rules

  • Position the solar collector (PV panel) outdoors
  • Clear any obstacle in front of the sensor:
    • Glazing
    • Swing shutters
    • etc...
  • Site with heavy snowfall: positioning of the vertical panel on the facade is mandatory
  • Control function: the sensor must be near the shutter, on the same facade

Installation No. 3 is the most common installation for a roller shutter.

with the aluminium curtain that goes down in front of your window and the housing that goes outside. (Winds up towards the outside).

The tracks are pre-drilled at the bottom of the track, so that they can be fixed to the right and left in your window frames.

The integrated mosquito net is located at the rear of the shutter box, thus offering a simplified maintenance system with easy access.

Option available in layout #3 with 130 and 165 mm boxes.

Recommended measures:

Manufacturing width between 490 and 1600 mm

Supplied with a Bubendorff transmitter.

The solar collector (PV panel) must absolutely:

  • be positioned outside the dwelling
  • to receive direct lighting
  • must not be obscured by any object (including, for example: glazing, shutters, balconies, trees, dense hedges, etc.)
