Somfy motors combine comfort with everyday security.
The Oximo RTS 6 Nm motor incorporates Somfy Radio Technology, which is Somfy's historic radio protocol with more than 10 million devices installed.
This technology is called Mono-directional because only the transmitter can communicate with the receiver. This technology allows, for example, your engine to inform your transmitter that the requested operation has been carried out.
To take full advantage of your Somfy motor's RTS technology, opt for accessories that also support the RTS protocol. There is, in fact, an incompatibility between the RTS protocol and the IO protocol.
The two technologies are different, even though both are wireless radio systems. For example, it is impossible to operate an RTS motor with an IO transmitter and vice versa.
