To remember :
- The 3-year commercial warranty is changed to 2 years “parts, labor and travel”.
- The extension options are replaced by new "SAV PACKS" (parts, labor and travel):
- Pack A: after-sales service provided by Bubendorff-Service for 5 years.
- Pack B: after-sales service provided by Bubendorff-Service for 7 years.
- Pack C: after-sales service provided by Bubendorff-Service for 10 years.
- New corrosion-resistant “seaside” aluminum apron. It is used as standard on the entire Bubendorff standard color chart. Depending on the distance from the seafront and the after-sales service package taken out, it will be guaranteed for 2 to 10 years on defects due to corrosion.
Warranty period for Bubendorff roller shutters sold from 2022
Since January 1, 2022, Bubendorff shutters are sold with a 2-year warranty . It covers spare parts, labor and technician travel.
The manufacturer has a network of approved professionals throughout France to carry out interventions.

It is possible to extend the duration of your warranty directly on the Bubendorff site. Concretely, you can, as an option , upgrade to a 5, 7 or 10 year guarantee.
How to take out a Bubendorff warranty extension
Extended warranty for a roller shutter purchased by a professional
Here are the specific conditions of the manufacturer:
The professional customer has the option of opting for a paid warranty extension for a period of two (2), four (4) or seven (7) years, bringing the total duration of the warranty to five (5), seven (7) or ten (10) years. The price of this warranty extension is shown in the BUBENDORFF price list. The conditions of this warranty extension are identical to those of the 2-year basic warranty.
This extension must be taken out while the professional controls the roller shutter.
Extended warranty for a roller shutter purchased by an individual
The individual customer wishing to continue to benefit from the BUBENDORFF guarantee upon expiry of the initial guarantee, may extend the duration of the latter to 10 years; by subscribing to a paid warranty extension for the product with the SN number concerned, directly on the website www.bubendorff.com. The guarantee is granted to the individual customer after a waiting period of 6 months from the subscription to the extended guarantee.

What is the price of the Bubendorff extended warranty?
To cover your shutters for a longer period, here is the cost of the extension:
- + 2 years: 20 € HT (i.e. 5 years in total)
- + 3 years: 30 € HT (i.e. 7 years in total)
- + 7 years: 70 € HT (i.e. 10 years in total).
This price is per shutter, whether rolling or swinging, PVC or aluminium.
