How watertight are the slats?

The extruded aluminium and stainless steel blades of the structure offer the possibility of varying the angle of inclination using the knob on the supplied remote control.

The shape and joints of the slats ensure that the structure is perfectly watertight.

When the slats are closed, water drains off both sides at the end of the slats if you haven't put in a slope.

How much snow can the pergola handle?

Steerable pergola blades designed to withstand all weather conditions.

The slats are an extruded aluminium profile cut to the correct length to suit the dimensions of your supporting structure.

Contrary to S-blades, which are a simple folded sheet, this aluminium profile is very resistant and will easily withstand a few dozen cm of snow.

How much snow can the pergola withstand?

We selected this extruded slat profile. It's stronger than the S or Z slats which can be a simple sheet with a pin.

When all the slats are closed, they press against each other to form a strong compact unit.

If you have 1m of snow on your pergola, it will weigh about a tonne per square metre. This will of course cause your supporting structure to bend or it will tear out the supporting rails attached to the sides. But in no case will this snow bend the slats.

We advise that in the event of heavy snowfall on your operable slat deck, to leave the slats open to avoid too much accumulation. This would be quite exceptional.

So rest assured, this pergola which is very simple in its mechanism is a reliable and durable piece of roofing, to protect your terrace, garden furniture, sofa, etc.

Is it possible to put Led lighting in the slats of the pergola?

Yes, LED lighting is one of the possible options.

How to choose the orientation of your pergola slats

If, for example, you have your house on the right and facing south at the front we advise, a clockwise orientation.

In the middle of the afternoon you can open the slats to let the light through. The sun's rays will be blocked and you will be protected.
