The EasyHOME Hygro Premium Micro-Watt or High Pressure single-flow hygro-adjustable VMC has been specially designed to meet the requirements of RT2012 in new individual homes.
It is equipped with a latest generation micro-watt constant pressure motor which reduces electricity consumption linked to ventilation to a minimum.
This type of ventilation renews the air in the house only according to the humidity level detected at the vents.
If the air is humid, the ventilation openings open, the air flow is increased and the building is protected against the appearance of mold. If the air becomes dry again, the vents close, the air flow decreases and saves energy related to heating the cold air entering the house.
This EasyHOME humidity-controlled ventilation system gives very good results in terms of RT2012 regulatory calculation. But it has the major disadvantage of not adapting the air renewal in the event of specific pollution linked to CO2 or VOC (volatile organic compounds).
If you want good indoor air quality in your home, you will need to choose a single-flow system such as EasyHOME PurAIR or a double-flow ventilation system.
Which model should you choose between the EasyHOME Hygro Premium MW group and the EasyHOME Hygro Premium MW HP group?
The only difference between the VMC EasyHome hygro adjustable Premium MW and HP comes from the fan:
- For the MW (Micro watt) version, there is only one rotation speed. This model is designed for short network installations.
Typically the case for single-storey single-storey houses whose ventilation unit is located in the attic. - The networks are all less than 6 m long, either in a flexible insulated network placed on the insulation, or in a semi-rigid HDPE sheath insulated for the part located above the attic insulation.
- For the HP (High pressure) version, 2 pressure levels therefore 2 types of rotation speed are possible. This model is preferred for large houses, two-story houses with long winding networks.
In this case, it is advisable to favor the semi-rigid HDPE network (heat-insulating to be provided in cold volumes).
In large house configurations, the installer must plan for commissioning with measurement of network pressure losses at the vents using a pressure gauge. >
Although equipped with low-consumption fan technology, the EasyHOME Hygro premium HP model will consume more electricity than the Premium MW model: 11.9 W-Th-C compared to 7.3 W-Th-C for an F4 with a bathroom and a separate toilet, i.e. 60% higher electricity consumption.
